Queen Anne's Lace Tincture
This tincture is handcrafted from fresh, wild, ethically sourced Queen Anne's Lace, also known as Wild Carrot (Daucus carota) flower and seed heads. Queen Anne's Lace has been used traditionally as an herbal "morning after" option for centuries.* It is believed to thin the uterine lining, making potential implantation unsuccessful.
Clear intentions and desires are also important, as conflicting emotions can influence your body's reactions.
A caveat: if undergoing a hormonal shift or surge (such as withdrawal from Hormonal Birth Control, menopause, recent childbirth, etc.) this method is less effective on its own. It is also important to maintain gut health (just as with Hormonal Birth Control), and be mindful of effectiveness during antibiotic use.
Reportedly, the most effective use is three doses of 21-30 drops of tincture, all 8-12 hours apart, in one of two ways: If successfully charting your cycles, first dose 8-12 hours after ovulation. If unaware of exact fertile period, first dose 8-12 hours after unprotected intercourse.*
*In the event of frequent intercourse, please note that this method relies on WITHDRAWAL - of the herb. If used daily throughout a cycle (due perhaps to daily intercourse) its effectiveness is greatly lessened.
